Yet you miss the point again.

Why did they put the dog and the dotg and the duck together as a character. It makes nooooo sense considering they dont work together in their respective game. Rosaline and the Star? Sure, that makes sense. Ice climbers? Duh. Duck and dog. Wait what?

I think you mean a billion light years. And how did I miss the point? Duck Hunt clearly represents all games that used the Zapper and Sakarai took some creative liberties.

Why are Marth and Lucina in the game? They come from different time periods. Why is Samus and Zero Suit Samus in the game? It's the same character twice, it can't happen.

Sakarai likes to celebrate Nintendo's history with old NES characters, this would be a good way to celebrate the zapper and classic games. ROB is nearly identical in concept.
