| I got it as a present (since my old laptop was on it's last legs), but looking up the model... seems it's 400-500 bucks. I haven't tried running any really big or strenuous games on it, and i'm not sure if it's necessarily a gaming laptop, but it hasn't had any problems so far with anything. I'd say it's more all-purpose than gaming-focused, but i'm not sure...? you can probably tell i'm not great with computers As for specs, I think they're: Processor Brand: Intel Processor Speed: 2.1 gigahertz Processor Model: Intel 5th Generation Core i3 System Memory (RAM): 6 gigabytes I have no idea what any of that means except for the last one, but I hope this info is useful? | ||

pacifrisk (11/25/2015) [-] Runs fine however some of the hits are really cheap. For example when the bones come in that disappear before they crush you i find that some of the attacks that come next become unavoidable. Also attacks obviously need more variation, it does not take long to learn how to avoid most of them. Finally it would be nice to have some sort of intervals in between attacks, If not to heal then at least some dialogue or something else to keep the player wanting to continue. I also assume you will add other characters from the game too in time. A Chara Vs Frisk boss battle would be the coolest #55 -
yamibaddy (11/25/2015) [-] The example you are talking about is actually very dodglable. especially since I changed the wave behavior to only spawn after the currently running disappears. Maybe you are jumping too high? More variety is comming, especially for progressive mode. I added bosswaves after reaching 5 levels + full heal after managing beat the boss wave. I was actually considering putting in monologue, more characters and attacks related to those. But that would open a whole new chapter and require even more work than I am currently willing to put in. I want to get the boss waves entertaining and challanging and have the waves in general more variety. When I achieved that, it's time to put this project on ice and start a new project I have in mind. it runs pretty well, although i'd love to have a mode where you can actually play the real boss fight (IE 92 health, turn based, all of his stages and attacks on the same turns as they appear in the fight, maybe even give the player food) aww, that's too bad, i've been looking for a way to just play his fight again without having to do a whole new genocide run. But oh well, i can't wait to see how this ends up. Why not make the "bad time" mode give you 92 hp like the actual San's battle, and adjust the damage/other levels accordingly? Also would be nice if the platforms and gaster blasters appeared. The physics are still a little weird and seem a little too floaty. Would be cool if it was possible for a mobile version as well, I mean it plays close enough to flappy bird to work if it were to be ported over. seems to run pretty well on my system, I have a... Toshiba laptop. yeah you need more info than that don't you uh it's... a fairly new... toshiba laptop? like, I got it a month ago? heh, yeah that info's useless isn't it. I believe it's running on Windows 10, i'm not sure what the resolution is, and specs are... no idea. i'd check but i'm lazyyyyy i'm sorry Those blue bone attacks are fun as hell, I like them the most. I don't really find any of the attacks that boring, though. I'm curious, a different version of this I saw a while back (I think gnar linked it in the comments here somewhere) had only blue attacks, no red soul attacks like the gaster blaster ones. Is there any possibility of you putting in red soul attacks? There were also a couple Gaster Blaster attacks that you avoided while your soul was blue, but that DID involve jumping onto platforms, which would obviously make this a bit trickier to implement. So basically, any plans (or even possibility) of adding in Gaster Blasters or Red Soul attacks? #22 -
yamibaddy (11/22/2015) [-] Do you know the pricing of your laptop? And is it a gaming one? That at least would give me a bit of a clue. (: Sans Reloaded is actually a forked project from GitHub, where the progress of the project seemed really slow, so I took matters in my own hands. You can find the original author in the credits. That's the least I could do. That is probably the version you are talking about. Further credits will be given for the songs in the next update. This update was actually only a push for playtesting. Gaster Blaster attacks are actually the next thing I want to implement. I am not sure, if I can put the Blaster outside the renderer, that would require to move them as a gif outside the gamingbox and render the lasers inside at the same time. Seems too much of a hazzle. There is one part in the Sans battle where they are in the gamebox, this should work. switching blue to red heart + their props shouldn't be an issue. Progressive mode at the moment is quite boring and there are only a few bonewaves. Those are for testing purposes. There will be more to come. I was thinking about a boss wave after 5 levels each. Also, a full heal after 1 or 2 boss waves. I got it as a present (since my old laptop was on it's last legs), but looking up the model... seems it's 400-500 bucks. I haven't tried running any really big or strenuous games on it, and i'm not sure if it's necessarily a gaming laptop, but it hasn't had any problems so far with anything. itsgnar (11/22/2015) [-] You're the one working on this? Nice. You've made a good job so far but there's just a couple of things that bother me, personally: 1. The speed in which your soul moves doesn't go in par with the game. Maybe fixing the acceleration of it would be nice because the velocity of it could add for a challenge. 2. The soul's hitbox is a bit too small and sometimes you see the bone hit you with no damage. Other than that, it's looking great. Keep up the good work. Loving the hybrid 3D style. | ||
