Arguable. The force could be seen as the ultimate weapon, too - The Sith certainly think so.

in doctor who there are aliens capable of generating death rays, using voodoo dolls, controlling your blood, etc. all these powers together make the force look like a joke.

I'm pretty sure the force can do all that, but I'm not all that bothered.
