100 is the average 115 is notably above average and 125 is genius. Oh and just to give the full spectrum, 85 is notably below average and 75 is legally retarded. So, by that scale, I think 105 would be a good number. As for regulating, you can't, not without imposing restrictions and rules on a joke site.

One hundred is the average? I thought is was higher that that... Well, I'm smarter than I though I was!
User avatar #184 - vatra (04/03/2013) [-]
Depends, if you took one near the end of its term, then you will score higher than you should because the average is rising about two points every 10 years, so they scale it back to 100 being the average, meaning the average person is getting smarter.

Yeah, I wonder if my IQ test was accurate, it was done when I was in 3rd grade to see if I placed into the creative/gifted program. Not that any 3rd grader would be particularly gifted haha.
User avatar #178 - vatra (04/03/2013) [-]
Standard IQ stabilizes around 10 years old, that isn't to say you will score high in academia, IQ itself is your capacity for learning and how quick you are on the uptake, not your actual knowledge base. So I'd say it is probably relatively accurate seeing as 3rd graders are typically 8 or 9. Though, depending on how long ago you were in third grade, chances are they have come out with the latest most accurate model since then, so it wouldn't hurt to take it again.

I think you have an interesting hypothesis however I feel that the second you involved religion into your statement your creditability is decreased drastically.
#54 - xxxgnipsxxx (04/02/2013) [-]
Yeah I'm not meaning to drag religion in, just saying that perhaps at one point long ago people really did live that long while the "cancer file" still worked properly.
User avatar #21 - crazyhindu (04/02/2013) [-]
it pretty much is a "corrupted" file
#18 - tehfunnyguy (04/02/2013) [-]
I'm sorry but can you reword your second sentence?
#56 - xxxgnipsxxx (04/02/2013) [-]
I'm just saying, and I apologize for my non-medical terms, but perhaps cancer was once a "mod" so to speak to our genetic sequence that at some point mutated, or corrupted. Cancer supposedly holds the key to curing disease and achieving longer life, so perhaps at one point it actually did just that, conquered disease and let us live much longer than normal.

Not really, given that the Southern Water Tribe were styled after the Inuit, who I believe had no specific wedding garb, given that it was too F'ing cold to not wear their normal clothing.
User avatar #23 - lorddarkskull (03/26/2013) [-]
water tribe is based off of inuit, air nomads were tibetan monks, earth kingdom were feudal chinese, and fire nation was japanese (in most animation japanese are portrayed as white skin with ethnic physical features)
#29 - xxxgnipsxxx (03/26/2013) [-]
Interesting, thanks for the answer.
