if you want to learn hard surface modeling i suggest you start with c4d than move to 3ds max, for animating i suggest maya

zbrush is very easy to use uliss you're talent less and don't know any anatomy or lack imagination.. its literally wax modeling

i have bee doing 3D art for almost a year and i only scratched the surface
User avatar #43 - sonofpsychodad (06/07/2014) [-]
Zbrush is different from Autocad. First of all, it's not meant for animating, only modeling. Second, the way to use zbrush is a lot like modeling with clay in real life. You can use different kinds of brushes and tools to create whatever you'd like to model with very high details. Professional studios use it as well to create characters and architecture for films and video games.

Not forever. I don't know if you have any experience with 3D animation but if you want to be good at it, you have to spend a lot of time practicing to improve your skills.

Quatre's explanation of the whole AOTS/Y thing is pretty much spot-on. On some dedicated forums you'll sometimes find that the community votes to decide their collective Anime of the Season or Anime of the Year, but more often than not when you see those terms it's just people talking about their favorite anime in a particular time period.

And yes, NGNL is most definitely that good, and again Quatre's breakdown is both amusingly and somewhat disturbingly accurate. I can't begin to tell you why you haven't heard of NGNL or Kill La Kill or Monogatari. Both NGNL and KLK have had content posted to FJ on numerous occasions, and I imagine Monogatari has been referenced any number of times as well.

also on No Game No Life: it's like the great characters of Code Geass enter the absurd game-ruled world of Yu-Gi-Oh (don't cringe, just go with it). The chessmaster archetype main character(s) brings the storyline to be over-the-top dramatic (in a good way) without being slow. The art is stylistic, sometimes surreal, without being off-putting; the the humor is actually funny, not gaggy or slapstick; and fanservice is minimal, tasteful, and not forced. It's all-around entertaining and worth the watch.

While there are national animation awards and such, most of the talk on funnyjunk isn't so official. FJers (and others) use the term "anime of the season/year" to talk about their personal favorite of currently airing series (or of all anime aired that year). Seasons are about 25 weeks, though many anime come in half-season installments of 12 or 13 episodes and the 12 weeks are often called seasons unto themselves. You haven't heard of most of the titles because only the biggest (or infamous) anime make any buzz outside of japan or dedicated anime discussion forums. Choosing an anime streaming site and watching for recent updates and new series will let you find new series and let you make your own opinions on current anime. Fair warning, we're just past the halfway point of the the current (half)season, so opinions are already formed by those following current series.

Honestly, I'm sure a lot of young girls are gauging sluttiness by the use of tampons, and it really does partially have to do with tampons being a phallic product. When a girl first hits puberty she generally uses pads to start out, mainly because of their moms and because it's more comfortable depending on the girl. I know girls who are still using pads later into their 20s because it's too painful for them to put in even the smallest tampons. I personally prefer tampons because I have a heavier flow and I don't even notice they're in there, and I'd prefer not to sit in a puddle of my own blood all day like you would with a pad. Now that's gross. Rant over.

It's easier to put a tampon in if you're not a virgin.
#165 - anonymous (06/06/2014) [-]
I had so many questions abut this. Is using/wearing tampons what the kids use to gauge sluttiness nowadays? Is it equated to having sex with a cotton peenor? I don't think tampons are generally enjoyed as much as tolerated for convenience. Also what if she meant literally "wears" them instead of using them? Like is she just letting tampons dangle from her ears like earrings? I know that sounds retarded but i fear i can't put that kind of retardation past this person.
