that statement might of been broad but applys to all the allies, britain would have been bombed into submission with out the US, the invasion of france would have taken so much longer without the british, Russia would have collapsed without the other pushing in the west, and similarly the liberation of france would have taken longer if the russians weren't so driven to get vengeance in the east. no one power could have stopped the nazis, didn't think i had to be more clear on the context of that statement
