I hate Dr. Who too. It's overrated as shit, just like MLP, except their might actually be something to like in Dr.Who that would be appropriate for adults. For MLP, you've been told it's good, so you just follow along with it.

it's like how men like Disney or Pixar movies because it almost like an escape route to your childhood and it's true growing up sucks, but that's why some people like to connect to their childhood self. I watch MLP because it reminds of the old cartoons of the 90's and 80's (not the old my little pony) and also the creator of the show made or was part of a show that i liked as a child, also the voice actors is another reason i liked it because they fitted perfectly with character's development throughout the show.

it's like you have no idea what the show is about now do you, and yeah its about friendship because it is in the title, but also it gives you simple life lessons which hardly any show or movie does anymore and it's not about tea parties or dress up like the old stereotype my little pony did, at least now its more of solving conflicts and beating villains and references to Disney movies if you didn't know that

doctor who was intended for kids before because it had sci-fi or fantasy adventure and moral to the kids, which until adults started liking it of course it change and sure it didn't start in the 90's but more like in the 60's and they still talk about it and probably bigger than the brony community

So the only show you could think of is Dr.Who, and that's because a bunch of grown adults were watching a kid's show?

i would've said a lot more than just doctor who but since you did say in the 90's so it limited down to that show and since i didn't want to go forward i went back and since doctor who is the longest running show and it was a kids program which has about twice the size as the brony community so that's why i choose doctor who and if i gave you a list of big cartoon fandoms right now, except for my little ponies they would be in the top 5
