You were talking about two different definitions of the word "religion". OP was refering to religions that have survived to this day, ie Christianity, Judeism, Islam, while you were referring to it conceptually, the IDEA of a practice of faith. Besides, there's no concrete evidence of religion beyond traditions and rituals, which don't constitute "religion" on their own. #79

However, personally again, to me "most religion" does not infer alive religions. And animistic religions as referenced do count as religions if the definition can be seen as traditions, rituals, representations in art and archeological evidence, etc. This included oral and written communication and passing down of cultural (religious belief). Defining "religion can take up an entire Degree assignment! Google Venus statues,Indo-European religion and culture and Indus Valley civilisation for reference. | ||
