And about the drawing. I feel like the ear sizes are reversed, her smiles ARE large but you went too large i think (it's debatable) and her teeth must be larger and rounder. Her eyes seem fine. Uhh, not sure what else could be off. Line work could use some work, but understandably you're fairly new to digital, which can be dificult. If you're using mouse don't forget to use Line and curve tool, very nice to get lines done.

Later on I decided to use Paint Tool Sai, ehich was fairly enough a easy program to learn, and once you grip some tools, it becomes a good program. (The same for GIMP, i just never used it) My main thing is lines, comics, that sort of ordeal. So I eventually bought Manga Studio which is my current program. LOVE it. It's a bit pricey, but that goes for all drawing programs. I recommend you download Sai and start from there when it comes to fancier programs.
