As a 5 or 6 year long DM, personally, vanilla DnD is the best.
I usually only allow slight variations and such. After PCs get super power-gamed and OP the game stops being fun or challenging so I have them scrap their characters

How... How can you say vanilla DnD is the best? (What edition we talking here, or you going AD&D?) I mean, there are so many better systems out there. DnD is pretty much just combat, and it's even kinda settled combat wise, without the broadness of GURPS or what have you.

vanilla DnD is the best DnD I meant.

Original SRD is usually a lot more fun to play than all the random third party bullshit people shit out

Yeah, I fee you on that one, homebrew content is always hit and miss. Ranging from broken to immershuun breaking.

yeah he literally knows the dungeons masters guide like the back of his hand while managing to make a lot of money. He spent money to fill every kind of ac bonus that stacks, and I saw no reason to hamstring him because he had the money and the items weren't coming from some book I've never heard of. While he couldn't be hit he wasn't a real heavy hitter because he had used some feats as well to boost ac rather than damage. At the time of writing this he actually died to a room of shadows that almost caused a TPK and the other players to abandon the dungeon they were in.

He probably just has a ton of random magic items that boost his AC. Like this: www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/a-b/amulet-of-natural-armor

Some DMs are imo dumb and let players go crazy with whatever magic items they want. Then again, AC is very easy to counter (rust monsters, DEX traps, touch attacks/flat footed) so not that big a deal. But having 28 does make things very annoying to have to deal with all the time

Ah I see, thanks. We are going pretty vanilla since we are new so I don't think our dm would allow to much shenanigans anyway.

Just read the chapter, they find 3 journals and in one is a picture (keep in mind they don't have pictures within the walls). In the journals it says that humanity outside the walls exists and is thriving. So basically the people living within the walls are the only ones having issues with the titans. Or at least that's what I got from it all.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I find Armin really annoying, and was disappointed that he was 'revived'.

Yeah, see it all depends on the correct posture on a motorcycle. If you sit wrong the tank is pressing against you dick and balls pushing them in. After months of this you need to buy a really loud exhaust to feel better.

Seriously though bikes are intentionally louder. With limited visibility on the road a sound is often a difference between a car crash or lack of it. I am aware however that people intentionally buy TOO loud exhausts. But people do that in case of cars either among other things. There are assholes in every walk of life.
