yes but when you have a society who's politics are so far up religion's ass, so to speak they won't be worrying about history, plus, it's a saying where one nation fails another may succeed, so maybe they saw the pearl harbor thing as they're chance to try where the japanese failed, plus cultural psychology suggests that the muslims did it as a sacrifice for their God, when you believe so deeply in religion it's no wonder your nation is fucked up. I believe that war isn't going to make a difference because as long as you believe in a religion that tells you to sacrifice yourself for your people you will continue to fight. Besides, in the end there were more innocent people from both sides killed and injured than actual people who deserved it.

apparently not because you would think that a foreign enemy would look at WWII and how we knocked the everloving shit out of the Japanese after their attack and decide not to mess with us, however nations must face the consequences of their actions whether good or bad. We as a country are not exempt from this rule but we will not hesitate to enforce it
