That's why you work more than the average job; it's not as if I expect you to be working at McDonalds your whole life.

Not if you plan right. There are millions of products and novelties that are high in demand. The creator of the 'Pet Rock' became a millionare within 6 months of his creation coming out.

I never said it wouldn't. Of COURSE getting rich requires hard work and much effort, why do you think every rich person that didn't inherit their wealth tends to be old and crotchety?

If you have enough money to comfortably invest 10,000 bucks then congratulations, you don't actually understand what it's like to have very little money.

You also don't understand that GASP, some people simply are not good at engineering or couldn't qualify even if they tried. You also don't understand that in some places, engineering jobs simply are not available. You also don't understand that many engineering jobs don't pay very well because you have a degree in a field where literally everybody else also has a degree.

Considering you also take a dump on minimum wage workers, I assume you've never worked for minimum wage in a difficult job in your life and that your parents probably got you your first (or second, or third) job.

You're so divorced from reality it's actually sort of funny.

PS: You don't want people investing. You don't want people doing what you do. Because guess what, genius? If they did that, your investment money would be worth less. Profitable investments would vanish faster. You also don't want people working harder and getting wealthy because that means your money is worth less so you'd have to work harder and so on and so forth until we end up like China or Japan.

Oh golly gee it's almost as if you know nothing about me, nor the experiences I've had in my life, and go onto assume that everyone who disagrees with you either has not had your experiences or has just not gone through them 'correctly'. It's fine, I used to think like that when I was 14 too, but I grew out of it once I realized how often people make excuses for their poor decisions.

For reference, my family used to have a lot of wealth and status before legal complications where we became so poor we had to rely on charity. Wanna know what I did? I worked. I didn't spend money. I denied all gifts/presents/outings/holidays in favour of saving money, and put it all into investments. I'm slowly climbing back up there while you are making excuses for why it can't be done.

I understand plenty. I understand that whether you're good at something or not has little effect on your level of effort. Does it make it more enjoyable? Yes. Can certain people be talented in it? Yes. But 'not being good at it' is no excuse as to never BECOMING good. I sucked at Basic/Advanced training and I still got through. I understand that some places do not demand those types of jobs, hence moving to places where they ARE required. I also understand that STEM degrees are the most in demand right now because so FEW people have them opting for 'easier' courses, which is why STEM fields often tend to pay the most.

I didn't take a dump on anyone. I just said people don't work minimum wage their whole life; guess what, if you do, it's your own fault. There is absolutely no excuse, unless you are legitimately mentally handicapped, where you cannot get above being a cashier or fry-cook.

If you look at >>#69 you will see that I did work with my father and it was for a minimum wage job. The experience itself actually made me realize that they are completely right to not raise it. And before you say anything, yes I was doing it to pay rent. Because, you know, I was busy joining government work and had to travel to a different city. This is where the 'moving to demand areas' comes it.

Says the person who uses ad-hominem attacks because they have nothing better.

Except it wouldn't, because wealth isn't a zero-sum game and there are always more things to invest in, ergo, more projects to fund and more money to be made. If anything, it would mean I get MORE, because the company would jump start faster and I'd get larger shares at a quicker pace.

See, this is the shit I'm talking about when I say people make excuses for their poor choices. You yourself are living proof that people will do absolutely anything they can to AVOID the truth that they are responsible for their own opportunities. But that's fine, that just means someone who's actually willing to work can do your job and get their rewards while you piss and moan some more about how evil all rich people are.

It's a little known fact outside of Japan but people of Japanese heritage actually evolve at an accelerated rate compared to others. One result of this evolution is the ability for them to control their blood, which helps greatly for things like preventing them from bleeding out when cut badly. While it is looked down upon in public, some men have taken to actually manipulating their blood to shoot out of their nose and into their penis to achieve erection faster. Japanese TV shows often show people doing this when aroused as a comedic way to show perversion.

It's a reference to Japans rate of high blood pressure, so when they see something that makes them anxious, stressed or surprise, their blood pressure rises more and high blood pressure can lead to nose bleeds, it eventually became a cartoon symbol of arousal or at least shocked by some sexual.

What I think is more retarded is when those people who would tackle her for her gun, would already be able to carry one around just like her.
#8 - anon (01/19/2014) [-]
Yeah they could just shoot her, and then take her gun. Guns are good to have, all the time.
#12 - anon (01/19/2014) [-]
Really you're going to shoot someone, in the middle of the day, in a store with surveillance cameras every two feet, among dozens of witnesses?
