Whatever happens, I dont think Zuko and Mai will get back together. I mean Zuko was in a horrible mental state, hadn't slept for weeks, got his sixth assassination attempt on him and when he went to ask his father for advice in a moment of weakness, compare the reactions:

Suki (Former enemy, he burned down her village and attacked her, is a citizen of the nation he is having problems with) : "I'm really worried about you, is there anything I can do to help you?"

Mai ( Girlfriend and supposed love his life): "Fuck you and your secrets, I'm leaving you"

Not...exactly what happened...but ok.

Same here if Zuki gains speed I could learn to accept it.
But Sukka still remains my first choice.

If by hinted you mean that one frame where Siki said she was worried about Zuko then OK
As apposed to the 3 SEASONS of content between Suki and Sokka
But hay I guess I'm just very pro-Sukka

i lean more towards Sukka instead of Zuki(or Suko) also, but just because it hasnt been clarified in either the shows or the comics, i'm open to possibilities.

Still they just seem like a weird couple and it was never hinted at in the slightest.

in the promise it was. only slightly, but at the same time they reinforced Suki and Sokka.

Not necessarily. I've heard about, seen clips, and parodies of classic movies that have been around for years that I've never watched. As far as Amon goes you can get the joke just by watching one of the trailers for season 1.

I recently thought very much the same thing when I was re watching the series.
But, the fortune teller could have been a fraud. Just telling her what she wanted to hear. "You'll live long and have a big family with a powerful husband."

and she did tell Aang, in the same episode, the same way he changed the clouds to read something new, he also had the power to change his destiny.
using that logic, the future is form-able and mold-able and always changeable.
