Given the quality of his other senses, I'm pretty sure he'd know the lightbulbs have burned out.

At the very least he probably has enough sensitivity to temperature to be able to feel the heat from the lights

He can sense electromagnetic waves, which light is included among, so he would know that the lightbulbs, after he flicked the switch, were not creating any light.

Well, he can hear the beating of another person's heart. A normal person, or even a common thief, would have a slight increase in heartbeat upon breaking into another person's house, because there would be the fear that they get caught or hurt somehow. So that's eliminated.
More advanced thieves are eliminated because they would be quieter than mercs.
Mercs become the most likely choice, as it's unlikely many people would be able to figure out who he is. Mercs would be hired by those who do know, as he's pretty damn badass, and mercs are expendable. He's a lawyer, so it'd be pretty easy for him to make more and better deductions than I have.

Now, as for them wearing night vision, I'm guessing that can be chalked up to being in large due to his radar sense, which gives him a rough 3d-image type idea of what the world around him is. That would tell him that they're wearing some type of goggle. That combined with the lack of light makes it a pretty good guess that the goggles are night vision goggles.

Ah a bit of misunderstanding. I took #29 saying "its fake" meaning the story was fake, not the cover. You seem to think that the cover is fake, irrelevant of the story.

The odds of #29 actually reading the story to in question to validate it are so astronomically low as to be non existent, therefore it must be assumed that they believe the cover was fake.

Its still fucked up to hike up prices for a medication like he did. Insurance companies wont cover what they dont want to, and that co-pay for the people who do end up needing it would be ridiculously high, a lot of the people who actually need this medication wont be able to afford it. Medication is very rarely free with most insurances, besides military insurance and certain Medicare add on plans.
