Same here! We met on WoW and we talked for a little over two years until we figured out we lived 20mins apart. Now we have been together for 3 years and live together.

that is not the case for most people. we go after people we can see because we can, for the most part, be sure they are at least what gender they say they are. also it is very easy to fake a personality over the internet. that is why tthose kind of situations rarely work out past the first few encounters

I lived in the same town as him and he worked with my best friend, so lukcily, I knew he was who he said he was. I actually started to talk to him after we both started quoting LOTR on my best friend's Facebook wall. Although I have to agree with you, have have to be really careful when meeting people online.

The bird that sits on my shoulder like a champ and grumbles over everything I say is our sun conure Li'i (Lee-ee, means little in Hawaiian. When we got her we lived in Hawaii and had a macaw... Thus the name.)

They're top birds, I plan on getting a small colony of them

i had to make splints for both of my birds legs and carry her in my neck piece everywhere when she was a baby, she was very clumsy and had issues listening to me when i tried to stop her from climbing in her cage with one good foot, well she listened after that, ouch.
