On a fundamental lvl CS and FG are the same, little to no character development and cutaways.
But FG is arguably better, better characters for one. Peter's randomness compliments the shows setup, Cleveland being an anoying homosexual doesn't add anything.

CS is the same tea, brewed with the same, re-used tea-bag. Making it a bland rehash of FG.

We're talking about a type of cheap entertainment designed to be just that - cheap. You watch it to waste time and get a couple laughs, I find Bob's Burgers just tickles my scrotum in the right way to give me that giggle, while Seth is kinda inconsistent but formulaic in all the wrong places. You get these weird episodes where he tries to inject depth and it ends up feeling completely contrived and awkward.

In any case it's all down to taste, it's not like debating about it is going to change anyone's opinions.

I'm not saying Bob is the worst show ever. But FJ has the tendency to overhype stuff.

Bobs Burgers, Archer, Guardians of the Galaxy, Parks&Recs. All of them are treated like they are on par with Breaking Bad in their respective genre's.

I watch Bojack Horseman lately, wich is surprisingly good. At first I was kinda driven back by the art, but the puns and characters are just too good
