but consider the following:
Pretty much every country somewhat swells with pride when they are mentioned.
It should in no way give anyone a bad reputation what so ever and a similar version of wintercold's picture could be pictured featuring him using that very picture to get thumbs.
No one really "swelled with pride" in the comment section anyways.

Mostly they do, and I'm aware of the way he used it. I'm starting to dislike Norwegians myself because of it. Remember the brazzilians? Huehuehuehue and BRRRR?

That's an annoying expression that pretty much originated in online gaming.
It mostly got annoying because of the player.
It's like polaks constantly saying Kurwa.

Besides, you're allowed to be proud of your country, just be considerate and keep it english.
Most people do.

People just hate it because they say something like: "Go Norway!"
"Woo Norway!"
"Yes, Norwegian post on FP!"

Nothing wrong with that. It's pretty natural to seek people of your own kind and countless of other countries do this as well.
