Try thermodynamics in Celsius. Kelvin is much more than a modified form of Celsius.

wow, so there are people that actually think Ukraine did this? this is sad

People don't actually believe that it was Ukraine and not Russia who shot down MH17, do they? The ammount of thumbs scare me..

How can you be so sure Russia shot it down, because CNN told you? Wait for an official verdict on the matter before getting surprised people don't watch the same propaganda as you.
#49 - anon (08/10/2015) [-]
It was shot down in airspace over an area of Ukraine occupied by rebel forces. Besides, WHY would the Ukrainian military shoot down a civilian aircraft? They have no reason to. The rebels on the other hand are all fighting for different reasons, and don't have the kind of discipline or central command structure to prevent such things from happening that their adversaries do. Sure, you have the occasional extremist on the Ukrainian side (Azov and others), but they don't have access to the kind of weapons that were confirmed to have been used.

Ukrainians would have a reason to do it. Its more believable for Ukraine to say an unorganized group of Separatists did it with the help of Russian technology than for the Separatists to say Ukraine did it to pin the blame on them and Russia

no, not because CNN told me.. I live in the Netherlands so I don't listen to CNN anyway. Besides I tend not to listen to the news to tell me the truth at all. Just get information from it, but not "the truth". As I think every normal citizen should do.

This isn't about propaganda, it's about the evidence that has been presented numerous times now (not by the media, but by the same team that you're talking about that investigates the incident) Now I leave it to you to believe me, but I happen to have been very close to the investigation so far and that's also one of the reasons that I know that media lies, it's despicable the things they do. But for me it's a pretty clear cut case that Russia is responsible. This conclusion is for me extra verified when Russia was the only one not wanting a UN tribunal

Meh, it wasn't the Ukrainian State who shot it down, it went down deep within contested territory next to Donetsk. Just sayin'.

Ready for the red thumbs from angry people who don't know what a map is.
#50 - anon (08/10/2015) [-]
Exactly. Nobody knows EXACTLY who did it, but it's more likely that the rebels did it, or possibly their Russian "advisors" (don't even tell me that the Russians AREN'T fighting alongside the rebels, the US did the same thing in early phases of the Vietnam War until we stopped pretending that we weren't fighting a war).

Agreed, Russian troops and equipment have been operating in Ukraine for the past year. As to why they downed it, I have no clue. Operators for these systems should be able to differentiate between fighters and passenger liners. My bet it on a regional commander or guy in charge of the battery in question misidentifying a target?

The rebels/Russians have been targeting Ukrainian state cargo planes so it could have been a big fuckup that they don't want to admit to.

My guess is that Russia brought in the AA system and showed the rebels how to use it. Then Vlad rebel screws up and shoots the wrong thing because he doesn't really know what he's doing.

**anonymous used "*roll picture*"**
**anonymous rolled image**I feel like the possibilities are 50/50 that either this happened, or Ukraine shot it down to make people think the rebels did it and get justification from the rest of the world to fuck up the rebels shit.

The Ukrainian flag represents where it happened, which also explains the black borders.
