Here's a brief rundown:

Republican Party- Right wing. Generally push for low taxes, little regulation for business, and low government spending with the exception of the military. They often push for even more government spending on that. They also have a tendency to want government mandated morality (e.g. their dislike of gay marriage).
They are known to abuse the system to stay in power even when they get the minority of the votes.

Democrats- Left wing. Pushing for mild socialism, except for a few who want full socialism (e.g. Bernie Sanders). Generally in favor of more business regulation, especially environmental regulation.
They are also known for abusing the system to stay in power despite receiving a minority of the votes.

Libertarian- Kind of a combination of the two. They want government to have a very small role in private life, so low taxes and few social programs, but also no government mandated morality. Not a major party, but gaining some steam.

tl;dr- Fuck everything.

Democrats legislate morality just as much as republicans. When businesses are fined into the ground for turning away a gay customer, or when people are fined hundreds of thousands of dollars for calling a transgender person the wrong pronouns, that's legislating morality.

If democrats were as pro-choice as they are on abortion on everything else, they would be libertarians.

mind explain the libertarian party some more, I have never really had chance to learn about them. From what I have been told they lean a little too far left for me, but you make it sound I have been told wrong.

Both sides are shit at this point, but the large number of non-voter moderates don't want to vote third party because they think no one else will and their vote will be wasted, despite not voting to begin with.

how do you do that with like steam/witcher 3 with the icons of the games?

game banners, just add an image to the resources file and you have to link via .INI's, I may do a full rundown if more people are interested
