rainyeyes is correct. You are legally obliged to show license/registration upon request while operating a vehicle. There does not have to be a reason for the request. Remember you do NOT have a right to drive.

"its illegal to demand the ID of someone who isn't being charged"
"illegal harassment"

Holy shit you're so god damn stupid it hurts. How do you have such a dark blue name and clearly around the age of 14. Go get yourself educated, retard.

1. You are legally obligated to show papers when in a vehicle. This includes boats, bicycles, etc. It is illegal to drive without a license.

2. A cop's job is to enforce the law. Pulling you over, they don't need to give you any reason other than to inspect your vehicle. It's in the Highway Traffic Act in most North American statutes.

3. Being inconvenienced is the last of your concern. They literally give 0 fucks if you're running late; not their problem. If you're speeding and putting others at risk of danger, that's a problem.

4. Yes, you're a huge fuckhead. You have rights, but so does everyone. You're not special.

What happens if they can't divulge the information?

For example, there's a fugitive on loose and they have orders to search every vehicle, but can't share that information for one reason or another.

I know for certain that similar case happened about a year ago in my area (even though I'm not from USA, but same concept applies. Except the fact that people in my country don't treat police like a foreign conquering force thats out there to fuck shit up, as Americans mentality generally comes off to pretty much everyone else)

Going off the live action he is in new york and that city of all places public transit is preferable. That and the man just moved from the middle of the jungle and doesn't have money worth shit.

In the animated movie (pictured) Jane & the professor have British accents and Clayton references "god save the queen" so they would presumably move to London, and having no money to start is more reinforcement to the idea of him being overworked

And advertising works for radical groups differently than mainstream publicity, mainstream ads you're trying to convince a person to buy your product or subscribe to your ideology,

For a radical group your market already exists, brazen racists already exist without the kkk, Eco terrorists exist without Greenpeace, the point is to simply let them know you exist and let them come to you, they don't care about what we think, the idea is simply to use us as a launching point to get their message to people who already agree with them but don't know that the group exists, a controversy like this serves them infinitely more than sensible peaceful actions, in fact being sensible is counter productive to them, it would drive away prospects that would deem them too softsoft, the best way to deal with this is to just not talk about it so that their message doesn't spread like they want it too

Tl;Dr : normal advertising rules don't apply, you want to fix this? Then just pretend it never happened instead of encouraging them with attention

indeed, its a damn shame however no one gives a single iota of a fuck about their message and instead want them strung up to dry for their childish bullshit instead
#24 - anonymous (12/23/2014) [-]
but their cause is going to be overshadowed by the fact they defaced a protected area. they'll face legal disputes over the unauthorized entry and damage. yes we're paying attention to greenpeace but for the wrong reason.

their message has no relation to the nazca lines. they had no reason to go there and do that.

so no, they're wrong.
User avatar #40 - whitie (12/23/2014) [-]
Morals are different from motives, morally it's wrong, yes; but their motivation is based on the idea that desecrating a landmark causes controversy, which leads to news stories, and their plan is to use the spotlight to spread their ideas to more people, whether or not they should have is important (spoiler alert : they shouldn't have) but in terms of what they were hoping to accomplish, they were 100% correct in their idea that doing this spreads their message, the news is talking about it, we're talking about it right now, people who haven't heard of Greenpeace before are hearing about them for the first time because of this move,

The only point I was trying to make was they were right in their reasons for doing this, they wanted publicity and whether or not we like it they're getting that publicity
