I did.
And after I saw that ANX vs ROX game, which had some of the best late game fights and rotations I've seen in this year's Worlds imo, I was convinced that CLG didn't deserve to move on to the next round.
Sorry if I upset a few fans here but I found it fitting that ANX and ROX moved up from this group.

Gotta agree.

Played it a few hours myself as well and the gameplay and the feel are very different. Because of hero design some people would point at the comparisons and call a rip-off, but the heroes have very different skills. Some skill mechanics that are outright entirely absent in OW.

The biggest comparison would probably be between either game's classical Snipers. Kinessa in Paladins and Widowmaker in Overwatch.
Both have a weapon that when zoomed charges a shot, and unscoped the weapon functions as a submachine gun.

However i feel this can be adequately explained. Both are simply inspired by the TF2 Sniper and his standard load out, which consists of a primary Sniper Rifle which charges a shot while scoped, and a secundary weapon that is a submachine gun.

Both Paladins and Overwatch simple took that kit, but ran in to the problem that they didnt want to have more than one weapon. So they integrated the submachine gun and the sniper into one single weapon. Besides that their skills are both very different.

Don't just take my word for it, Paladins is free to play see for yourself.
