Well... Things could always be worse. An attempt to connect the olden games trough a timeline where Link "Dies" has always struck with a sense of "Why even brother"
It implies there could be a new timeline for every time the hero fails or succeeds, or a new timeline for when he's late or early, or had lunch early or breakfast late, etc, etc
I just don't think the Zelda cannon is a thing that needs to analyzed so fastidiously as some people do

I've always felt that the whole Zelda cannon was a bit messed up. Mainly because Nintendo never bothered to put a much effort into continuity, so when they later tried to establish a lore it comes out with a nonsensical exposition

I'm working on a larger assignment, and I realized I started posting stuff as a means of procrastination, so I deleted EVERYTHING in hope that it will keep me from returning here
