so there are a lot of different kinds of satanism,
Levayan= athiests but they enjoy the ability to sin
Theistic= believe in afterlife and worship the devil you think of
and
Luciferian (the type I am)= a ton of different kinds, I'm a right handed which believes Lucifer seeks to do good and we try to do good also...

Okay, so basically you believe the devil's intent is good. So what does that put God in your beliefs? Is he also good or is He the antagonist in your religion?

oh btw when I say I'm a right handed Luciferian I may literally be right handed but right handed luciferianism is a choice, it's not something you genetically choose.

didnt lucifer try to make everyone respect god, but went overboard, so god sent him to watch over hell, or am i just a complete retard?
User avatar #8 to #7 - boavenom **User deleted account** (11/02/2011) [-]
like I said there are many variations of the same belief... I personally believe Lucifer believed Yahweh tried to do good but by trying to do good he just caused injustice and hippocracy...

I.E. by not letting adam and eve eat from the tree of good and evil (by saying if they do they'll die) he was creating forced followers rather than followers who really wanted to do good.

meh, im all set on those religions, i have my own variation im happy with, so ive decided i would believe in Norse mythology and gods
User avatar #11 to #9 - wherestheknech (11/02/2011) [-]
Oh so you see him as almost like an overboard christian? But why choose to follow him instead of God if the devil encourages you to folllow god?
User avatar #13 to #12 - boavenom **User deleted account** (11/02/2011) [-]
I don't believe Lucifer wants you to follow Yahweh or him, I believe he wants us to do what is right by choice rather than be good because you're scared of hell.
User avatar #14 to #14 - wherestheknech (11/02/2011) [-]
Okay, so it's almost like do good because you want to not because you have too. But what about the afterlife?
User avatar #15 to #15 - boavenom **User deleted account** (11/02/2011) [-]
still exists, still works the same. but would you really want a bunch of dicks in heaven for all eternity just because they managed to be good for a few decades?
User avatar #16 to #16 - wherestheknech (11/02/2011) [-]
Okay so by worshiping Lucifer you will go to hell, but is hell a bad place for satanist or are they pardoned from the punishment?
User avatar #17 to #17 - boavenom **User deleted account** (11/02/2011) [-]
I don't think anyone thinks they are pardoned... if so everyone would be a satanist
but Levayans don't believe in hell
and Luciferians and Theistic Satanists believe that hell is better than serving an injust hippocrate

It seems like you believe in the bible, so what about the parts that calls the devil evil? It seems wrong to cherry pick
User avatar #21 to #21 - boavenom **User deleted account** (11/02/2011) [-]
evil is an opinion word, it has no value whatsoever...
if the bible is true then the actions are nonobjective... they may be put in a way that makes Yahweh look better but if I said
"Your reply was good"
all that you can know for sure is that you replied... whether or not it was good it up to you
User avatar #22 to #22 - GoldenLotus (11/02/2011) [-]
It just seems kind of contradictory to be a satanist yet believe in the collection of books that talk about how good God is and how he created everything and is to be thanked for creating everything and how the devil is out trying to corrupt mankind.
User avatar #23 to #23 - wherestheknech (11/02/2011) [-]
i agree but also disagree, the bible can be interpreted in many ways
User avatar #24 to #24 - GoldenLotus (11/02/2011) [-]
I agree (and I reject all of them), but one thing that is not up for interpretation is that the bible does praise both God and Jesus.
User avatar #25 to #25 - wherestheknech (11/02/2011) [-]
Ahh an atheist, but what he is saying is that God is hypocritical and doesn't want to worship him, he believes that the devil (even though in Genesis it never clearly stated it was the devil) instead of trying to destroy mankind told Eve that if she didn't want to follow God she didn't have to.
User avatar #26 to #26 - GoldenLotus (11/03/2011) [-]
Well of course it is hypocritical. It is also hypocritical that he makes a law stating that you can't kill people then 50 laws stating who to kill as well as ordering his followers several times to annihilate whole villages.

I would like to agree with him that in the bible, Satan in the nicer one between him and God as throughout the bible Satan is responsible for around 10 deaths (All in the book of Job) only because God gave him the power to kill the people whereas God was responsible for thousands. However, the whole bible is about praising God.

That's some tough stuff to handle, knowing that you will be tormented for eternity and the one you worship would do it to you.

Sounds very interesting, i never really looked into satanism that much. Kinda cleared it up for me.
