The idea is to throw as many bullets down range as quickly as possible though. Firing them at the same time, while more accurate if you are trained properly, would defeat the purpose of it ;D.

Firing them at the same time would literally be double the bullets going down range.

i agree with anon there are marksman out there that can nail two quarters 50 yards out at 180 degrees at the same time. If your some urban hippie fuck who doesn't know how to shoot see the mythbusters i assume you are less accurate but someone who actually practices and knows what they are doing can become quite accurate.

Sure, someone who has trained specifically to fire two guns accurately can fire two guns accurately. That's not what we're talking about here. This is about the average person. And the average person hasn't trained specifically to nail quarters at 50 yards and 180 degrees.

Also, I wouldn't qualify any of the mythbusters crew as "hippies".
