>by that logic, isnt association of the left with their extremist elements as much of a problem? Isn't that a big thing that's happening on this website?

the extremists represent the norm of the left, we are criticizing this norm. racism is not the norm. i'd like to make an clarification though, by left in my previous comments i mean the progressive left, the left that's in power at the moment. i should have made that clear

>so is right-wing policies therefore the correct think? Have you lived in a right-winged society?

i'm more left oriented than 80% of the people on this website, i'm just VERY disenfranchised with the dominant ideology of the 'left'. it isn't about the "polices", it's about the culture that comes along with the party in power. when the current 'right' is in charge, yes, we are allowed to think and say things, that is much of the reason why trump won in the first place. if the current left was in power, then wrongthink would be in full force and it would be fucking terrible EVEN for the left. the very nature of the current left wing is cannibalistic, it'd be like the rise and fall of robespierre except instead of a revolution it would be the political correctness and the lengths the extremists in power would take.

>Blaming groups is the easiest way to find your peace of mind, it doesn't actually solve anything, it pisses me off when the left act like entitled cunts who look down on those who don't believe in their perspectives but it JUST AS MUCH pisses me off when the right starts using the blame game to cast all their troubles on the other side.
>when right starts using the blame game

blame game: a situation in which one party blames others for something bad or unfortunate rather than attempting to seek a solution.

the right has won, there is no blame to be had when you're a winner. as for these so called problems, we are simply stating the reason why the situation has happened in the first place. if anything the left wing's entire ideology revolves around blame, dismissing the CRITICISMS of the left as BLAME is self defeating.

> Fuck it sounds like an emerging class warfare

wanna know why something akin to class warfare exists in the first place? i'm sure you already know the answer, but it has something to do with LABELING and CATEGORIZING :^).

>what is your actual opinion of how the world could improve then?

vote for someone who can improve the world, and america did that

>If you're accusing me of association fallacy, you'd have to be aware that you're just as guilty of it

i haven't associated you with anything, i have looked at your points and rebutted them. i haven't attributed you to any party, i have only expressed my disdain for the current left wing which is the primary source of your problems as well.

>Too many complainers, too little thinkers about what to actually do about this bullshit.
lol, i don't even need to say anything

>so whats the solution here mate? Make right-wing extremism accepted or nip both at the bud?
actual left wingers take back their ideology from those who hijacked it. we have already taken steps towards that by voting against it in the presidential election.

i have nothing more to say, this discussion is over on my part. your critique of funnyjunk's "hysteria" and invitation for discussion was poorly implemented and misdirected. we may be circlejerking but if you want to break this you're coming at the complete wrong angle.

I'm not even loling, you can't even see the cringe that you're exhibiting. That's perfectly understandable, it's very hard to be able to look at your own opinions objectively and it really requires you to actually allow yourself the possibility that what the contradicting argument is stating is true. I had the same belief that maybe trump might be a get up and go kind of president before this week.

What really really set off my own break from this opinion is the devolution of the argument that you guys were making into satanic occultism and that mysticism was practiced by hillary's team. Maybe that was the point where the rational me just went "alright it's time to wake up from this, the arguments made here are no longer sound, they've regressed into the rantings of collective madmen.

Satanic cults, assassinations, cyber espionage, rigged authority figures, corporate shadow councils.

"WikiLeaks said it, I've seen the emails in WikiLeaks, have you seen the spirit cooking video? There are people complaining of voter ballot fraud"

All of you are reading tertiary or secondary sources or information. None of you have actually allowed yourself the possibility of falsehood or deceit on the part of the very sources you're reading. I'm not saying they're all false but the fact that so many here have just unquestioningly agreed represents that all of you are off the deep end. The conspiracy theorizing won't stop at this rate, there's going to be just a regurgitation and spouting of increasingly mad and ridiculous articles.

All that does is make those who are still willing to believe them even crazier. You are being dragged deeper into what is mass hysterics and confirmation bias, as much as you obviously Don't believe in it because it doesn't conform to your own view (irony in action)

Maybe some of you are still on the fence and that you realise I'm not just some cuck ctr but that there may be some reason in the man who is telling you to question whatever you read, whether it is from Hilary's source or from trump's source rather than to just let trump stick his dick down your throats and manipulate you for his own ambitions of power.

Don't bother posting any WikiLeaks, breitbart, infowars, russiatoday, Fox News things to me as some kind of "evidence" offering. You're only showing the ones still on the fence with cognitive intelligence that the people who support trump are absolutely cooked and will only use information that supports their own argument and not engage with opposing/neutral views because their own opinions are actually vulnerable.

>Surely the smear campaign on Hillary must be true because the people that aren't the opposite side of the media said it.

There's documented evidence of hillary and her campaign doing some shady shit, Like paying people to go disrupt trump's rallies, or Co-ordinating with the media to fuck over Bernie, or the uranium one deal, or the fact that she takes money from people funding our enemies. If you pulled your head out of your ass, maybe you'd see it. All of this is documented in the wikileaks that have been put out, but I'm sure you've just been dismissing it all as conspiracy theory bullshit even though wikileaks has never been wrong.

>Either way, he's your candidate and you reap what you sow, I just hope that you won't look back on this and think "damn what was I thinking back then? How could we let someone have bamboozled us through his own media to convince us of his rightness?"

I won't. Hillary's misdeeds far outweigh Trump's, the fact that she's still allowed to run in spite of all the evidence presented thus far, is an enigma. If it was anyone else, they'd be facing execution or life imprisonment.

>It's been done in the past before, particularly in dictatorships with cults of personality, the use of easily rememberable jingos, images, attitudes and casting the blame of issues that actually require serious reform on vulnerable minorities and external threats. Isn't this all that's actually happening? That's what I see is occurring, that a terrible fire is being imagined and somehow it's becoming made real because people just believe it to be.

And you don't see the whole vote rigging crap and the shady shit in general that Hillary's done as something a dictator would do?

>So many of you have fallen prey to the spectacle (this idea written by a writer called guy debord) where the image of reality is being accepted rather than the true reality itself. You've eaten up the trump personality of being seen as a maverick who doesn't listen to authority figures that you've refused to see that the ideas and attitudes he represents are a threat to the achievements of modern society.

That's not why people follow him though. You're looking at the smaller picture. It's not because he's a "Maverick who doesn't listen to authority." People follow him because he's the one who's most likely to follow up on his promises, He's the one who is most likely to bring the country some, at the very least, prosperity before his term ends. The people don't want people like Hillary to ruin our country even more than it is right now. That's why they follow him.

>Trump represents a danger to globalisation, but internet communities like this, our ability to share ideas, our ability to communicate with each other from so far across the world are all built on the ideas of globalisation. youre blind if you don't think his policies will negatively affect minorities.

You're blind if you don't think Hillary's policies will negatively affect everyone in this country, including minorities. Trump's policies on the other hand, are going to just fuck over Illegal immigrants, who shouldn't be in this country in the first place, considering the fact that drugs and guns are smuggled through the US-Mexican border. Not to mention the fact that the dumb bitch keeps pissing off Russia, what the fuck do you think is going to happen? They're going to have tea? Maybe a bit of crumpets? No. It's going to end in military action on both sides.

>Maybe you are white and that won't mean a thing to you, but id like to believe that no man is an island and that when one of us suffers all of us are the worse for it. Any act of violence will always create trauma for all involved, each registering in different ways.

I'm not white. However, I do agree with you. Humanity should work together instead of driving each other apart, however, people like hillary would rather keep us divided, and she's even said this in her own words.

Surely the smear campaign on Hillary must be true because the people that aren't the opposite side of the media said it.

As much as the argument that Hillary will be remembered as the candidate that wasn't trump, from what I've seen floating around here the exact same argument is presented for trump, that he's not Hillary.

It's been a game of double negatives. So the whole "he's not Hillary" argument doesn't stand. Either way, he's your candidate and you reap what you sow, I just hope that you won't look back on this and think "damn what was I thinking back then? How could we let someone have bamboozled us through his own media to convince us of his rightness?"

It's been done in the past before, particularly in dictatorships with cults of personality, the use of easily rememberable jingos, images, attitudes and casting the blame of issues that actually require serious reform on vulnerable minorities and external threats.
