Well if you wish, you can watch Second Raid, then go back to Fumoffu, I suppose. I completely disagree that it "isn't worth watching," especially since I'd consider it less of a romcom and more of a straight up comedy.

Rather, I've had enough comedy anime for a lifetime, I'm mostly a fan of mostly serious anime, with a bit of comedy thrown in here and there. I guess I just don't find Japanese humor that funny.

Fumoffu was fucking sweet. Some of the best comedy I' remember seeing.
I'd say it's worth your time even if it's not directly plot related.

There are no important plot details, no, but it's pretty hilarious nonetheless. Take it as a side season, where all the seriousness is thrown out the window and it becomes a comedy.

Most people think it sucks, but to be honest I don't think it was bad. My biggest problem was that because they did all routes, he didn't actually get with any of them. I'm definitely going to be watching season 2 for refrain and Kurugaya's route.

If you want an action/romance anime, go with DN Angel
The romance is essential to the plot, and it has a decent amount of action. Just not the kind of action you may be looking for (hitting each other with feathers that can cause explosions)
