Dude, regardless of the course (and yes, I looked it up), that's retarded. Who sends their students to watch women shake their thong-clad asses in a strip club and rent videos of slutty chicks in skimpy costumes getting jizzed on? There's other things to look at in a freaking class besides porn. That's not even a good example of human sexuality, half the shit in those videos isn't realistic. There's this: "exploration of sexuality from biological, psychological, and social perspectives. Critical issues directly and indirectly associated with sexual behavior are addressed", and then there's chicks with boob jobs drinking cum and screaming "FUCK ME" to guys with cocks the size of baseball bats.

It wasn't required. And later in the class, the entire end of the semester was spent discussing how what we had seen had we been to one or watched any of them, was not accurate representations the vast majority of the time. She did not "send us out" and certainly did not at any point tell us that this was "real world representation" (quite the opposite actually). The idea was that we, as adults, could benefit from getting a real world view of how things of that nature are represented in these settings.
