pretty cool; FO1 kinda sucks because the recruitable NPCs can't wear armour, are very limited in the weapons they can use, and you can't give them battle orders. tactics is pretty cool in that it's more of a squad based tactical shooter than an RPG, in that you directly control your squadmates, with no automation except that they will defend themselves base on what aggression stance you have them in.

i haven't played Fallout 3 yet; i bought it but it's just to much for my PC. looking forward to earning enough money to buy a new one :D

so is tactics a rts? i love rts, theyre one of my favorite types of games.

fallout 3 is amazing. its into a first person(or third person over the shoulder) wich might be a big difference from the old ones

oh yeah, FO3 is WAY different from the earlier Fallout games. they are all bird's-eye view. basicly you have the map and you're looking down on your char and you click around the map to move your dude(s).

Tactis isn't actually an RTS in that you don't build buildings or train units. you can recruit new squad members as the game progresses, and depending on the decisions you make ingame(which aren't all that numerable compared to most RPGs) you can even get Deathclaws, Supermutants, Gouls, and Reavers in your squad.
