One of my friends only really plays historically accurate tactical war-based games like Civilsations 5 and Mount and blade. He plays other games but for maximum of 2 hours usually... another plays single-player games like DMC and Skyrim. Last friend plays all the games I play and has perfect taste, obviously.

microsoft is just being greedy i mean from all of the next gen consoles they are the only ones who have pay to play online and dont get me started on the advertisements

Confirmed:

- Used games require you to pay to use on another account (multiple people in your house with separate accounts? Too bad, pay twice or more for the game you already have in your hands)
- Connection required to install ALL games (the disc data is transferred to the console, supposedly for convenience of never needing the disc again, but you need your account to be online to register the game) - ie. single-player games require connectivity
- Indie game developers STILL can't self-publish on the Arcade
- NOTHING that you bought from the XBL Arcade will migrate over to One
- Most of the media services advertised in the conference will initially only be available in the US, with no estimation on when expansion will happen
- Kinect is required to be connected at ALL times, and it will be listening/watching even if it's "off" (combined with easily-hackable x86 architecture...OH BOY!)
- HDD is not interchangeable, and you HAVE to install every single game. External storage will be completely and utterly mandatory, especially with the move to Blu-Ray-based titles
- Despite the similiar architecture, no backwards compatibility at all. PS4's move from Cell to x86 doesn't excuse them from this, either.

You can also dl games. i.e; I have a PS3 model that can't run my ps/2 discs. But, I can dl games like FF9,Person 3 FES, and Psychonauts. Hopefully the XBoxOne will have this like the PS3 did. I also hope PS4 still has this.

they never confirmed that your downloaded games would work. i would expect them to have ports available on the PSN store that is for the PS4 only. the VITA has its own store

I know, I'm just stating that, in theory, you don't need CD backwards-compatibility to play prev-gen games. You can dl them, and that would work just fine. It's very simple, and they did it on PS3. I don't see why they'd remove that feature.

it's just that i already bought the games. thats the issue. i really dont want to repurchase my collection. though i could just keep my ps3, my TV only has one HDMI input. it's dated and it's due for an upgrade. doesnt even have an LED backlight or motion plus lol

Well, they're not going to wait for you to play catch-up. You have to keep up with the times, just like they do. Also, on an unrelated note, everyone mentions Xbox Live being superior to PSN. Have you seen PS+? I just got Sleeping Dogs and 2 of its DLC for free! That is an example of a common PS+ deal, and it's just as much as XBL.

the huge caveat i heard was that all purchased content purchased while + is active will no longer be accessible when + subscription is expired. thats what i read a while ago and have been wondering if thats really the case. OH. my buddy got Demon's Souls for free with +. awesome game

It is, but it balances out. You pay $17- 18 per month to get about 2 $50 games and up to 10 Indie games of varying prices. It's insanely fair. Plus, it's similar with games bought with XBL.

Once I had done every quest, I stopped playing because there wasn't much else to do...
I think I was only level 43.
The way creatures leveled with you in Oblivion kinda annoyed me, because it was never really a challenge to kill them. Morrowind didn't do that, evertything had a set level and was harder to kill, but, none of them respawn, which is one of morrowinds only major flaws.

Oblivion was probably my most played game. I tried reaching the maximum level cap(153 or so, legitimately) but that requires strict discipline, if you gain some xp or the wrong level once, it's pretty much over. Only made it to level 117. And... creatures... don't respawn? So, you can kill everything in all the land?
