I dunno, it sounds a bit like Buddhism, but I don't really believe this "soul" will continue to exist after I die. Kind of sad, but it makes you appreciate life even more don't you think

You didn't say you misread anything, you said that you didn't understand what afternoon meant.

I overlooked the fact that afternoon consists of 2 parts (after + noon). An honest mistake considering English isn't my first language. Of course I knew the meaning of both noon and afternoon, I just never saw the connection between those words (which is what could happen when you don't use either of them in your daily conversation). Also note I said why it's called after-noon, instead of saying I now understand what the word afternoon means. I hope I made my point clear and suggest we stop this silly discussion.
