 After what happened in 9/11, if it were headed to a population center, there can be a LOT more damage than just the plane and passengers. ~3000 deaths and ~6000 injured vs... 100 people and a plane. Now, if they were in kansas threatening a cornfield, that's different. Probably just try to get them to land and negotiate or something. In fact, that was standard practice before 9/11, just get them to land and then have security deal with it.  Yeah but to the conspiracy therorists, these protocols have been adjusted AFTER 9/11 in response to it. Similar to how active shooter situations in schools are having cops now aggresively search for the target on arrival vs. creating a perimeter and waiting for swat. Nothing is perfect, and much of what we do is modified in response to horrible things. Conspiracy theorists wont get that into their logic. | ||

anon (12/15/2015) [-] If you do a True Pacifist run and walk ALL THE WAY BACK to where you fell at the beginning of the game (as shown in this comic), you can find out the truth about Chara. Also, hints of how sinister Chara exists in the tape where Asgore got food poisoning from the flowers and Charac "laughed it off" showing a lack of empathy. While without further information, one may interpret Chara's sacrifice revealed in the tapes to be altruistic, going back to the very first room in a True Pacifist run reveals that Chara sacrificed her soul, TOOK OVER ASRIEL'S BODY, and tried to reignite the war between humans and monsters. Asriel reasserted control a the last second and saved them all. The irony here is that this is what Toriel wanted Agore to do near the end of the True Pacifist run, but Asriel sacrificed his life to avoid such a drastic measure (going up and forcibly taking more human souls) to break the barrier. | ||
