Selling out is the act of doing something you disagree with morally or ethically for the purposes of financial gain.


Toby doesn't want his game to have Merch beyond the very limited selection on Fangamer. If he went against that for money, that would class as selling out.

Maybe he's thinking about the fans, and doesn't care for money and cares about becoming a DECENT dev in these times?

He's one of the FEW Game devs I even give a shit about anymore, everyone else is off sucking the dick of EA and Ubisoft to make money, while some care about the long-term benefits of having a loyal fan base.

I'm not saying your point is wrong, i'm just putting mine forward as another viewpoint.

I only had one dream with Sans... It was spooky. Nothing nefarious mind, but seriously, his smile is unsettling. I fell onto this sidewalk for whatever reason and he walked up to me without breaking eye contact. I woke up right after. Hadn't seen him since.
