This kinda reminds me of how everyone in Georgia lost the 2012 presidential election.
The way it works, for anyone who doesn't know, is that the majority vote in GA gets all the electoral college votes, and in the last election the state voted majority for the Republican candidate, and the Democratic candidate won. So, if you voted for the Democrat then you lost in the state and your vote didn't actually contribute to the election, and if you voted Republican then you lost the overall election.

To be fair, if less than half the country actually votes, how can you consider the government legitimate in any form?

It's a problem we're facing in the U.S right now so I can sympathize the problem is that no other parties can get voted in due to the prevailing thought that the ones in power now are the only ones that have a shot of getting elected if you can change that then the government might change to reflect that

That's like saying children aren't capable of murder or physical assault . Children are able to learn things at a very young age and also have desires just like the rest of us, and just like the rest of us and yea it does have a lot to do with there surroundings and bringing up and what they see, but just like the rest of us its possible for them to be able to blackmail someone or threaten them into doing things for them whether its sexual acts(and use that as further fuel) or simple material objects to money, or other things. But that's a view point people are free to look at and accept, or dismiss where all entitled to our opinion. I'm just going to say its silly to think this kinda shit can't or has not happened because of how crazy it is.
