I kinda' liked Robin's creepy laugh. It reminded me of Terry's laugh against the Joker in Batman Beyond

I suppose so. It just kinda irked me that whenever he went off on his own, he'd do that cackle instead of just disappearing. It was used to good effect a couple of times like with the radio when they forgot about each other in the desert (I think that's the episode? I've only watched the first season once so far).
I'm just glad they did character development on the team by the end of the first season, even if some of it was long overdue.

Well. Kirkman (the creator) himself has stated that stories will differ from the comics to keep viewers on their toes, and since the majority of people watch the show rather than read the comics, I don't feel it's that important.
