so I guess if you were poor and you were dying and you didn't have any money to pay your surgery, you would still think that private health is still right. So you are saying you agree about letting poor people die because they are poor and let rich people live because they are rich?

Everybody should care about that things, you just have to place yourself in the other person's situation. Some people work a lot and they earn shit, and I'm not talking about people who were ''lazy'' and they didn't study (many of them couldn't even study) . Now that we have this crisis, many people have finished their career, they look for a job, there aren't any jobs, if they are lucky they can work like a waitress or something much lower than the profession they have been studying for.
Imagine you are rich and you lose all the money for any reason and you are ill in a hospital. Tell me just one reason a person who has more money deserves to be alive before a person who doesn't have all that money (I think in the USA you would have to be very rich to pay all the surgery).
We are talking about helping each other, because maybe today you are the rich, and tomorrow you will be the poor one who nobody will want to help...

Bill gates is only rich because his parents were rich. He had early access to the first computers in his home, which were hugely expensive and he was sent to harvard. So head start on every other competitor. Sure he was intelligent and ambitious, but its hard to become a computer genius without a computer. (What i'm saying is people need that early life boost to get somewhere)

considering he donated a Shit ton of money to charities, but also, it's called being unselfish, you can't always think of yourself if you see a person in the street, why not help them out? it's their decision on what they do with the money but at least you made an effort. Paris Hilton and the kardashians do shit to help others. Their is a difference between Paris and Bill, one is a air headed whore and the other worked for his money and is still giving back.

Alright, example. Imagine your mother is terminally ill and she doesn't have money for treatment, even though she worked hard and raised three kids. Your next door neighboors are fucking rich and they could pay for her treatment and it barely hurts them financially. When you ask them for help they tell you it's "not their responsibility to help". You think that's fair?

We were talking healthcare here, chap. But still, you're arguments are kinda bullshit. People have jobs to pay for these things. At the end of the month, there's usually little money left to pay for expensive healthcare, but does that mean we should just let them die because they "didn't work hard enough"?

Healthcare for everybody: Sounds good right? Until you start getting people like druggies, or thugs, or anybody else that doesn't want/need it. It puts too much strain on insurance companies to add many more people to their policies, therefore expense will rise for healthcare, thus raising taxes.

I do agree with you that if you were helping people that would actually benefit from it, it is a great idea, but not when you give it to absolutely everybody.

Everyone deserves free Healthcare, you understand that. I can easily see the part you're not getting though: Everyone deserves "Expensive" Treatment.

Instead of arguing over who deserves what, why not thinkit through logically for a second. These treatments are Expensive for a very logical reason. The amount of money required for the training, equipment and resources to even perform such an operation are more than covered by the cost of the operation itself.

I don't think everyone with a terminal illness, or medical problems in general, is a "fucked up crackhead." Yes, you'd be helping out people who dug themselves into a hole, but you'd also be helping out even more people who actually have a "real" problem and who could benefit from care. Besides, I don't think big basketball player really needs ALL of that money, and who gives a shit if some of it goes to actually helping out those in need, as it's actually helping out more than it's destroying.

No it's not. If you help everybody out, then nobody will work hard for their own stuff. Just like right now the gov. has so many hand outs, yet it doesn't help hardly anybody. We have so many lazy Americans because of this.

The laziness comes from many things, not just one. Yes, there will always be lazy people, but they aren't the majority of the population and there are always those who can literally not be better off no matter what they do.
