drwonderful (02/05/2013) [-]  It wasn't supposed to be made canon but DC loved it so much they made it canon. Alan Moore hated the story (like he so often does when it comes to DC). Anyhow this story is showing a universe in which Bruce's becomes Batman...only for NONE of his rogue gallery to show up. This cause our pointy ear friend to worry about his life choices and go into breakdowns for days on end. Alfred, hired his friends to pose as Batman's colorful rogue gallery with Alfred taking the lead as The Joker. However, after several years Bruce figured out that it was all a scam, however one of the actors, Eddie Nash, get very deep into his role as the riddler and kidnaps several children. Alfred pleads with Bruce NOT to go after Eddie since the police could handle him, however Bruce want to deal with Eddie himself... The picture explains the rest. Words fail me, I fucking love that story. #32

canustartero (12/29/2012) [-] That's certainly true. My Dad's wooden ships game is great. The game comes with little cards that represent the ships, but he built little miniature ships for it, complete with little cardstock sails, and fine detail painting.

Basically, it starts out both the players write down their moves, then take the next turn at the same time.
Each ship has three different "health bars" representing rigging, hull, and crew, and there's different penalties involved for losing certain amounts of each.
You can board, and get tangled rigging, and other such occurances, too.
