Get your facts straight. There has never been a case of human sacrifice in a satanist ritual in the US. But prayers and religion has no place in school, just like science and school has nothing to do in church. I don't have anything against freedom of religion. But I am happy to see a tolerant christian. Satan just means "the opposer" in english. It just means that you oppose a lot of the senseless things the bible says.

There's no "true to you" and "true to me" for stereotypes this broad. I would love to see you react to someone using that logic to defend his stereotypes about less acceptable demographics, like gays, racial minorities etc.

Of course, this is assuming your numbers aren't exaggerated or outright fabricated to begin with. I grew up in an active church family and I'm not sure I ever heard someone excuse their behavior with "The Devil made me do it", nor "Jesus will forgive me anyway".

Then that is your personal confirmation. I grew up in a half-n-half family of church going folk and non going folk. For the ones that did go to church, they, and their friends are the ones I heard it from. And it has been on multiple occasions, so I can't say it isn't true that people -don't- say it.

You can't confirm that people don't say it and you can't really confirm that they do either, so you're going with what you want to believe.

I don't think lowly of them, I just think a number of them are misguided and close minded. Doesn't mean they all are, but that is my personal opinion. And frankly, I am their 'equal' cause I've studied the history of Christianity. Nice of you to care though buddy.

If you take my opinion, which is what this has been the entire time, as a 'surrender' then I will say you've been trying too hard. I don't concede to anything, and if all you want is the final word, then have it. Just proves that you have nothing to argue.

All this conversation proves is how incapable you are of talking about a specific subject. My only comments have been about how frequently these "Devil made me do it" and "God forgives me" excuses really are and you're trying to turn it into a soapbox against Christianity in general. It's just confirmation bias on your part, you filtering your experience with Christianity so that it fits this general idea you've got about Christians being misguided and closed-minded, which is the opinion you're really interested in expressing as you've shown with the direction you went above.

If we were aborted we wouldn't have known about it so I don't think any of us would care. A fetus also isn't classified as a human until so many months of growing as it is just a little ball of cells still which is actually the same as a tumor if you think about it. So when they abort it, it can't really be murder since it is not killing a human being. I don't see why you would need to go through with it anyway. I mean sure the orphanages aren't full yet but do we have to fill them to bursting? Does there need to be another mouth to feed that can't be taken care of. It's feelings aren't going to be hurt. I don't see a bunch of fetus ghosts floating around thinking "Man if I wasn't aborted I would so be paying taxes on a white house with a picket fence and living with my wife and 2.5 kids" People will have sex because we are wired for it, and you can use protection, but that isn't 100% effective. Accidents do happen. I think you should get the choice to remove something growing on your body for any reason you feel like. It is your body.
