Hi! Sorry for disturbing you on your profile, but I'm a bit curious about you. I saw a bunch of your posts on the animemanga board, and I must ask: Wut? Do you like upload stuff to nyaa and like mention people who want it? If so, I must say that's REALLY COOL. Do they like pay you? I want this kind of service . Please tell me who do I have to kill to have you mention me aswell.

Thank you for your time reading this!

I don't upload anything I mention onto nyaa but when there is a release I mention those on a list, it is pretty cool because I help people. They do not pay me, you can have this service and you don't need to kill anyone.

If you watch any airing anime, or awaiting to be released series, anime movies or OVAs I can arrange for you to be put onto those lists to be mentioned when the episode/ movie is released.

Thanks! You really are awesome

I'm watching black bullet, no game no life, gokukoku nop grynhildr and mekaku city actors.

Because I mostly steam episodes via Animania, I don't really get good graphics, which is really annoying on my nexus 7. I know I'll have to wait longer, but it's really worth it.

Thanks again!

Hey I hope you don't mind but could I ask you how you set up that list of yours?
Been thinking of making a documents to keep track of my purchases and stuff myself but I'm not sure what's a good way to create one, I could really use some ideas.

The numbers after the titles are the ranking on mangaupdates.com

Thanks man.
Sorting them according to publisher is a pretty neat idea I might use that one.

The price in the first column is Book Depository and the price in the second column is RightStuf, the reason their are only a few prices for Rightstuf is because postage is $13.50 (€9.05) for the first item and $3.50 (€2.35) for each addition item, It would be more expensive than Book Depository, RightStuf is having a Yen Press sale for a week starting today so I will be buying A Bride's Story, Kaoru Mori: Anything and Something, Thermae Romae, and Doubt.

I calculate it tomorrow to see if it is cheaper than Book Depository. I'm going to sleep now, need to wake up for the Dawn Service in a few hours.

Righstuf looks tempting as always. If only I had a credit card.
Alright take care.

Hey you seem like someone who's also into manga/books/collecting stuff.
Wanna talk about some recent acquisition/buyfaggotry?
User avatar #98 to #97 - varuna (04/21/2014) [-]
Definitely, bought Ikigami volumes 1-9 and Knights of Sidonia volumes 1-8, been researching over the long weekend nominating candidates for the next series that I'm going to buy.

I only have one more shelf left in my bookcase which already has western books in it so I may move them to the larger bookcase in another room.
User avatar #99 to #98 - charac ONLINE (04/21/2014) [-]
That Ikigami purchase is pretty neat. The local translations for me are only up to volume 7 which came out recently so I'll have to wait a bit before I can continue reading.
For me I just got some of the latest releases of stuff I already caught up with like Psyren 13, Brynhildr in the Darkness and Liar Game 7. Also got volume 1-10 of Kyoko Karasuma a few days ago.

I know that situation. All my shelves are already full so I have to stack them up on my desk. Probably going to buy 1 or 2 wall mounted shelves this week to finally make some room.

Flowers of Evil volume 9 comes out in a couple of days so I will be going into the city to buy that (if Kinokuniya has it in stock)

Have quite a big list with highlighting and a notepad of all the prices on Book Depository and RightStuf (Would only buy stuff that is over $20 a volume so it would be cheaper, example Vagabond 3-in-1, Vinland Saga, Lone Wolf and Cub, hardcover volumes, 400+ pages)

What I have in mind for my next order may include:
Vinland Saga 2-in-1 (1-6)
A Bride's Story (1-5)
Ristorante Paradiso, Gente (1-3), Not Simple, Danza, Tesoro, La Quinta Camera (so I will have collected all of Natsume Ono's published works)
Bokurano (1-10)
Thermae Romae 2-in-1 (1-6)
Maybe Vagabond 3-in-1 (1-33) (Rightstuff doesn't have them in stock at the moment)

Later in the year (around 200 days):
Assassination Classroom
Garden of Words
Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer
Ooku volume 10

100 days:
Seraph of the End

That's quite the list there. I am by far not that organised as I have only a list of manga that looked interesting. Keeping track of all that stuff like you seems pretty useful though so maybe I'll start with that too.
Also seeing all those multi volume editions I think I should look into the international market more often instead of mostly buying local releases. Especially the Vinland Saga Hardback books sure seem nice.

As for me I plan to get
Gunslinger Girl Omnibus 4-6
Oyasumi Punpun
Battle Angel Alita 11-16
Blame! 5-10
The Seven Deadly Sins
Blue Exorcist
Maybe the colossal titan edition of AoT or some volumes of Bokurano

I haven't really planned ahead for the next half tof the year but I just saw that Prophecy and Assassination Classroom are getting a local releases as well I might check them out. Also thanks for giving me a few new interesting manga to check on. Seraph of The End and Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer seem noteworthy

You have the opportunity to own Mushishi, I may never have that chance let them brand new let alone used or even library owned unless I spend several hundred dollars.

Uzuamki 3-in-1 is the highest quality book currently in my collection, the hardcover with that (I don't really know how to describe it) sticky feeling material on the words in picture, and the quality of the pages feel superior to other books.

Just got the idea to also put hardcover (H) in my notes.

Probably will also go after Parasyte, will have to buy from both Book Depository and RightStuf or try my luck with Booktopia (so they deal with ordering in the volumes that Book Depository don't have in stock).

Finished 8 volumes of Bakuman, Hiramaru is my favourite character, those faces bring the chuckles
User avatar #103 to #102 - charac ONLINE (04/21/2014) [-]
Please elaborate on that Mushishi thing, I just did a quick search and didn't find something feasible. Being able to read the Mushishi manga sounds pretty exciting.

Uzumaki sounded pretty intersting and the 3-in-1 editions is actually the same price as getting the german translated volumes 1-3 so I might even pick it up next time i order from bookdepository.

The Hiramaru-Yoshida relationship is probably one of my favourite things about the whole manga.

#104 to #103 - varuna (04/21/2014) [-]
Welp, Mushishi doesn't have a German release and instead just French, Italian, Spanish release. Kodansha bought out Del Ray when they defunct and instead of rescuing Mushishi, they are releasing a digital edition because "the calculations didn't add up".
You can look into Emma, that has a German release. The two series that I want the most out of any manga and both of the publishers defunct
#105 to #104 - charac ONLINE (04/21/2014) [-]
Kinda wish I chose French instead of Latin while going to school now. Oh well.

As a matter of fact I was just looking into Emma yesterday because a friend recommended Young Brides Story to me and it was by the same author. Both of them are on my list of intersting stuff right now.

This whole digital edition thing sucks but I hope that doesn't happen too often. And you still got companies like Madman and Hanabee. Those are good companies if I'm not mistaken.
