Sure, but in science we must have evidence to support claims.

Exactly my point. Absence of evidence of absence is not evidence of presence either.
Say that 5 times fast.
My point is that all claims need evidence.

The thing you don't understand about science is that it doesn't try to prove negatives. What it does is take observations about the universe and then tries to understand how it works. It doesn't say 'well you can't disprove unicorns so we can't say if they exist or not'.

Although you shouldn't confuse this with the idea that absence of evidence = evidence of absence, because it does not.

Who are you to tell me what I don't understand about science? I'm well aware of what you've just explained to me, and that doesn't contradict anything that I've said.

I could say "The great thing about he Bible is, it's true whether you believe it or not." That, what I say, doesn't change anything. It's right or wrong, true or untrue. Period. Building off of what you said, there is ONE ultimate truth and that truth is, was, and always will be true, whether we believe it or not, and whether it's something we consider hard science at the time or not. The truth, if we ever are able to find it through science, could be what we consider science now, it could be finding that the God in the Bible is true, or something else. I can't prove to you one way or the other.

Yes, all the entitled sissies who think their cushy life under mommy and daddy is the norm of existence, and if they aren't being handed life on a silver platter it's obviously because someone is oppressing them.

What does this have to do with entitled or self-victimizing brats who think they're being oppressed? The quote says the universe isn't obligated to make sense to you. That would imply that someone was saying that it is.
