Darkrin (04/19/2015) [-] Where did the ten years come from? I think the biggest problem with the ending and series as a whole is that people expected way too much. Also I would call the space battle just a distraction, because there is no way around having a giant ship battle for the Trilogy. Oops. More like 5 years Whatever the hype might have been. people sure as hell didnt expect 3 different colors for a trilogy ending. The extended cut fixed SOME of this. You just said that ships were the most important part of the battle in comment 284, yet now you say that they were distractions, and couldnt have made sense in the ending sequences. If EA had given Bioware time to implement ships into the ending more (not have you fly around in them, that would be stupid) then it would ahve worked. An example: You have spent alot of time serving turian interests. Because of this. Garrus survives a critical story point because of the players investment in the turian storyline. Bits like this would have made the ending really emotional and hardhitting, because then the player would get absolution form all three titles. But instead we got the distraction crap that everyone expected. | ||
