My best friend in school was an Albanian Muslim.
I am very well capable of differentiating between a Religion and it's followers.
Many Muslims are only Muslim by name, they don't follow the atrocious commands of the Quran, they are well behaved, and they are functioning members of society. They are not my problem.
My problem is not with Arabs, or Turks or Indonesians, my problem is with the fundamentalists and political islamists, the people who actually do what the Quran tells them. Sadly, they make up a majority of the followers of Islam, some being more extreme than others and some being more moderate, but I've heard of many ex-Muslims and secular Muslims that even many of the "peaceful" Muslims silently support jihad.
