Here's where the FJ pony thread rap group song discussions will take place!
I'm gonna paste most of the message I sent you all here too, so it can be referred to easily.
1. Let me know that you DO want to be involved. I've spoken to a some people as early as today and last night but others I haven't talked to about it since like last week. So ya, just reply to the comment on my profile so I can get a definite head count.
2. Once the instrumental track is done, how do we want it distributed amongst all the vocalists? Email? Soundcloud? Mediafire? Let me know what you guys think would be best.
3. Obviously, there are a lot of us who are going to be rapping and writing lyrics. My question is, do we want to just all rap about whatever immediately comes to mind, or do we want to have some sort of general theme? I'm open to suggestions, but you should know that I personally do not listen to really any mainstream rap at all (save maybe like Eminem), so I kind of do not want to rap about guns and booty and all that shit... like.. at all. Haha. So that theme is a no go. Besides that, I'm open to most all suggestions about themes; be it life, ponies, work, etc. Whatever. Let's be creative people! So ya, let me know your suggestions, or if you think it best that we all just rap about whatever we want.
4. This is for the people interested in the production aspect. Now, fujideath had already offered to produce the track and has showed me a sample. But I know since then a couple others have expressed interest in being involved with the production. So, I'm gonna leave it up to you guys to decide what to do with that. Maybe you could all come up with some collaborate idea, or make suggestions to what fuji already has, or perhaps make a track that evolves into a few different beats and melodies. I'm not sure haha, I just don't want to leave anyone out on what they want to do, so just discuss it on the comment I guess.

However, feel free to write about whatever you feel like; and you can include the idea of the thread/bronies/mlp in there somewhere (that's what I'm gonna do)
And yeah, I think that's about it for now. We're just gonna wait on the producers to finish the track and then we'll distribute it to the vocalists, probably through mediafire.

ultrablue (05/24/2012) [-] 5. How long each verse will be: Probably 16 bars, or lines, for now. That may be up for change once the instrumental is done, but I’m thinking with 11 or 12 people rapping, we don’t want the whole thing to end up like 10 minutes long. Well maybe it will anyway lol. We will see, but let’s plan on each person doing 16 for now.
So I think that’s basically it for now. Once the instrumental track is done it will be distributed and the vocalists can get to writing! We will obviously go from there to talk about getting the vocal tracks back to the producers. Looking forward to hearing from everyone! GO GO GO!

2. Mediafire might be the easiest, because you need an account to download from Soundcloud, and E-mail might take a while, and with Mediafire you can just click a button and bang, downloaded!
3. I'm against a theme of 'bitches hoes and money', but i can let you know that i will be rapping like a gentlemen in the short time i have.
4. I'm not really interested in writing rap music because i'd have no fuckin' clue!
5. 16 bars sound just about perfect!

ultrablue (05/24/2012) [-] Awesome! Ya I like the idea of weaving things about the thread and whatnot in the verses, and it kinda makes sense too. It actually might be interesting now that I think of it to just have everyone rap about what they want to and then see how it all mixes together in the end.
