bumblebeepeepee (11/22/2012) [-] Most of my friends from high school are actually already married or in a relationship. I graduated highschool 18 years ago, and I still have a fucking shitty job working as a local pool cleaner. It's barely enough for me to survive let alone enjoy anything, while my roommate has his girlfriend over all the time. I weigh 270 LBs so I really don't have an exactly healthy lifestyle. I fucking hate my life, both of my parents died in a car accident 7 years ago so I really have no one to turn to but the internet. I live in a fucking slum but everywhere around me seems to be a hell of a lot nicer (i guess that's why I can pay the rent) and everyone I knew has had a nicer life than me. I've also spent some time homeless before (a couple of months before I could actually decide to save money up to buy some equipment for the job i've got and finally able to make do in an apartment). I've tried to kill myself multiple times (one by hanging, one by gunshot) but I failed both times because I keep fucking pussying out. I don't see really much to live for anymore but I survive anyway. People have a better life than me. I guess they're just really the fortunate ones. But maybe because I just choose to live it why I keep going on. Hopefully I'm going to have purpose maybe by the time I hit 40, who knows.  #139

Now, go out there and go get the life you deserve, go for runs in your spare time to lose the weight, take a college course (Or whatever the equivalent is in your country) get some qualifications, add them to your CV, look for jobs all the time, you'll find a better one, go out and meet new people (I know this is a hard one). You can be passive and wait for things to happen, but unfortunately they probably wont, or you can go and make things happen for yourself. Become Alpha, don't wait to become it. #117

Finally been able to afford a half-decent laptop. I got my internet
Right now I've been getting in better shape recently. Over the last 4 months I lost about 30 pounds by doing weekly jogs, hitting the gym more often, and I feel more in control of my body than ever in my life. I moved out of that shithole I called an apartment, and I quit my old job. I thought about the college courses, and I've been thinking about attending a Community College and getting an associate's degree. My business actually started sparking a few weeks after I posted that comment: I got about 12,000 in February alone, I think. I actually got to go out to eat for the first time in like, 3 years.
About three weeks ago I started gaining a little more confidence. I might be not the best looking fucker, but at least I'm not kissless-at-35 anymore, since as of about two weeks ago, I've been living with my new girlfriend Michelle. She's a sweetheart, lemme tell ya.
Now that I'm back on FunnyJunk, you and the rest of the really awesome people on the internet deserve a thanks for helping me through depression. I was actually about to finally kill myself, but the internet reminded me that maybe not everyone has it worse, but people do care. I live with Michelle and her parents as of now and I've started getting a good workout helping around the house! You guys are really fucking great. Just so you all know, I love you people.
