 I stopped reading it when he got turned into an elf. Something pissed me off about constantly getting told in that book how inferior and disgusting humans are and how great elves are. One would expect thats its the MC's job to prove humanity's worth, but instead its "lol turn him into an elf" #129 -

But looking back, I realise how overpowered Chris ended up making Eragon. LIke, awkward teenager's first fanfiction overpowered.
