Huh. Homestuckxplain was beginning to see why Canic enjoyed having pets around, with all their utility and power, while also re-affirming her own views on why she didn't, since they were annoying and made sneaking around difficult. This damn skull...

She reached the top step, crouching again in case someone was by a window. She need a fake name, but thinking of one was hard! "Call me One-Arm. That name pleases me."
She took a look around the landing, once again allowing her eye to pick out anything juicy.

She grinned at her own pun, ducking down in the hopes of evading being seen from the street. _"If you want to talk, tell me where all the money is!"

Looking around, she decided she would make for some stairs, if she could see any. Valuables would likely be kept either upstairs, by the elves, or downstairs, by the dwarves. She decided that, if given a choice, upstairs had easier escape options, so that would be her choice.

I will answer your questions, any questions you ask of me, to the best of my considerable abilities. However, such queries must be phrased as actual demands, not hypothetical 'if-then' statements. For example, instead of saying 'if you want to talk, tell me where all the money is' you could say 'tell me where the money is' and I would comply. After all, I haven't lived for hundreds of years to try and make sense of the ever-changing nuances of the common tongue. Now, as you were unaware of the proper etiquette at the time of your previous inquiry, I shall disseminate the information you desire. There is little money to be had here, per se, though you may examine the vault in the bedroom upstairs. I do not know the combination, but I suspect that your arm may do the trick."

"Sir Burgler?" Homestuckxplain snarled, raising an eyebrow at the yammering skull. She contemplated stuffing a sock or something it's its clacking jaws, but decided that she didn't have the time to waste on removing her shoes and such. Likewise, she enjoyed having all 5 fingers, so manually shutting it's jaws was a risk she didn't feel like taking.
"Shut up, or you're going to get me caught!" She hissed, but it was useless. The tales of Syndrace were too compelling, and she had no choice but to abandon any pretense of stealth. She opened the door, poking her head out quickly to see if anyone was around.

I'm not overly familiar with troll physiology, though I believe your race has made quite a stir in academic circles since we learned of the 'bucket method' employed by your people. Very strange. I have a few questions, I'd like to ask on the subject, if you have the time. What exactly differentiates the 'males' from the 'females' of your species, given that all genetic material is collected into a single source for procreation. How did you come to develop such an unusual method of reproduction? Which came first, the trolls or the bucket?"

Eizujeil listened to the alchemists explanation and liked what he heard, at 10 d'jay a bottle he was happy to use the coin, and since he was getting a bottle for his partner, he doubted that she would have an issue with it. "Alright, i'll take two bottles of the stuff" He said as he handed over the coin, once he was done with the purchase, it was back to the workshop for him, perhaps the smith might have some more work for him.
