Enjoy this fizzgig!
Also, it's legit 430 in the am, and even though I don't have class, I should still get *some* sleep tonight, so enjoy your Nightvale! (whether or not you listen to it right now)

Please don't take offense at this, but I'd rather not. The last time I became friends with someone from FJ off the site, he turned out not to be a very nice guy. I've had to block him from contacting me, and I left this account idle for months because I didn't want to run into him on the site. You seem like a really upright dude, but it made me leery of giving out my info too quickly, so I'd rather just talk on FJ if that's okay.

Here's the link to Welcome to Nightvale - it's a pretty good mix of strange, vague horror and black comedy, then as the series develops you start to feel very strongly about the characters. podbay.fm/show/536258179

Haha, thanks. I never actually read Eragon past the first book, tbh, but I do love any book that can make its world feel consistent.
Actually, I don't know if you've ever heard of the Welcome to Nightvale podcasts, but I was listening to one today that referenced both Invisible Cities and Shirley Jackson short stories. I almost started singing "these are a few of my favourite thiiiiings", haha

The inheritance cycle (Eragon) the legends of shannara and the neverwinter saga

For series, I love the Abhorsen series by Garth Nix. For stand alone books, definitely Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino and War of the Worlds by H.G Wells.
My trifecta is horror, fantasy, and science fiction.
