The point of my 'The AI could use some work' still stands. It would be boring if they just took care of everything themselves, yes, but half the time... More than half the time, they just stand there. Staring. They're also usually at the 'main' base to protect it and still don't do anything. I've also caught quite a few keeps by killing all the other things in the keep that weren't very strong, and the enemy AI seem to do something similar since the friendly AI is still alive when the keep is captured.

My point is that the friendly AI could be better and keeps would still get taken. Even the player takes awhile to kill things with health bars, depending on the difficulty.

Saying the AI is useful due to scripted events is rather silly, though. Yes, it'd be harder if they weren't there, but the only way they "keep" Lana there is by standing near her. Similar to the allied Bombchus in the earlier levels; a single skeleton around can hold back a Bombchu, even if he's not attacking it. They don't really do anything AI wise.

I just found it silly that an enemy Volga could throw out a combo really fast in retaliation at least, and an allied one just sits there, hits the enemy once or preforms a special ability, and then sits there again.

it is always fun to see how powerful one can be at a certain level
I did the figures for my Assassin I played as
at level 30: Basic Melee plus a encounter triggered effect
the melee alone was 5 d8's, plus another 9 d10's
and if any attacks bring them below 30hp, I may choose to immediatly kill them
it was a potential damage output of 115 without damage mods from weapons and other things

also, if that attack was a crit, my characters theme gave him a weapon that did 6d8's extra damage on a crit at level 26, with a +5 bonus, bringing potential damage to 178 on a basic melee, with room for poisons
