| I don't think it'll look much better but maybe it'll have better writing. I didn't mean how it looked, I meant the content, I loved the hell out of Rick and Morty and I think it would take a lot of work to match what they made this season | ||

| Yeah i know. The apologists of the old philosophies always bring up the fact that it made more sense when you take into consideration that they didn't know what we know now, as if this somehow excuses the fact that the belief makes little to no sense now. Descartes was a genius, but primitive, as were all the people in the past. To me only the philosophical truths that remain valid despite any scientific discovery are the only worthwhile ones. The worthiest of course being those that were reinforced by modern scientific fact. Materialistic reductionism to me seems the only plausible way to go. There is nothing beyond the material. Emotions, morality or spirituality are reflections of humanity and don't exist outside of us. All that is and all that you see is merely an arrangement we perceive as whole objects. To quote the matrix "there is no spoon", there is only a specific configuration of the smallest elements of the universe you experience as a spoon. But i admit even this isn't on the most sold of ground as of recently. Since its discovery quantum mechanics has been buttfucking materialism, so i'm probably wrong on this, but i'd rather stick to what i can see rather than believe in something that can't be measured. #47 -
anon (09/14/2015) [-] Don't cling too tightly to materialism... Where did that lead? That we're talking monkeys... there's more than what you can see... And those things make it all worth it | ||

| Though if he says she's an fuck up of an avatar then he's comparing her to someone, was wondering who. I don't think either of them really screwed up, Aang was a scared twelve year old who got alienated by his friends and realized the burden that comes with being the Avatar and got scared. Korra on the other hand became the Avatar when she was like 5 and thought it was awesome, after that she was grown up sheltered inside a fortress learning to bend but not to fight properly cause her guards(opponents did not dare to go seriously against the Avatar and everyone kept her naive and sheltered of fear of Zaheer not allowing her to become adult and take responsibility. I'm just responding to the hiding thing, he was frozen not hiding, he did run away but there's no way of saying he wouldn't have come back had he not ended up frozen, also no way of saying he wouldn't have gone into hiding but as it stands, he was frozen. | ||

| I know, but he did run away in that hissy fit, the frozen state was to save him and Appa from drowning in the storm. It was more a comment on him saying Korra is a poor excuse of an avatar, just wondered who he was comparing her too cause as said, Aang ran away and dissappeared for 100 years. Though if he says she's an fuck up of an avatar then he's comparing her to someone, was wondering who. I don't think either of them really screwed up, Aang was a scared twelve year old who got alienated by his friends and realized the burden that comes with being the Avatar and got scared. I'm just responding to the hiding thing, he was frozen not hiding, he did run away but there's no way of saying he wouldn't have come back had he not ended up frozen, also no way of saying he wouldn't have gone into hiding but as it stands, he was frozen. | ||

I just skimmed it and didn't have anything clever to say, other than we are brothers-in-fetish.
I have to clear my reaction folder every few days to make sure I don't have too much going on.
It's pretty entertaining, I'm just not the type to get exceedingly excited.
YOU SOUND REALLY EXCITED
