I'll be making more wallpapers soon, but I'm currently working on one for Discord. The thing is, I want to increase the quality of my work, so I'm starting to vector the characters. Not only will this increase quality, but it will also make future work easier. However, the downside is that this takes a LONG time with the more complicated characters, which is evident in Discord. I'll also be revisiting the old wallpapers, and improving them as I go along.

I'll most likely work on the old ones at the same time as the new ones, to keep up with new content, but it'll take a while.

As for an Octavia wallpaper, what would you think would be a suitable adjective to have on it?

Octavia should be Elegance or Grace

That's what I was planning on doing. I found the background image on Google, but I want to make my own next time; I was trying a new idea out, and what do you know, it looks great. :)

I want to make a Luna wallpaper, a Celestia wallpaper, and a combo wallpaper of the two of them, but it'll take time. I'll try to get it done ASAP, though. :)

The texture behind her was something I found online; however, it was something I wanted to try out, so I didn't want to put too much effort into it if it wasn't certain to come out good. I could see the texture being done with a brush tool, and the sparkles being drawn by using a brush tool or something.

Thanks for the feedback, and that sample looks amazing! I have an older version of Photoshop that I use, so I need to update it and improve my skills as well. In the future, I hope to continue quality content like this, but more complex than the originals.

Not only was the idea of it, being in second person, really clever but I found it astounding that at every cliché moment that would have made it un-orgional there was some twist or sub-plot that just made me go "Oh damn! No way!" literally out loud.

Not to mention Dash is my favourite and has been since day 1, and I guess I'm not the only one huh ;) It's really cool, like you said, to find someone especially on a site such as this, who appreciates the same things you do, it really stands as evidence for the good things the world can hold no matter how insignificant they might seem.
Now if you'd excuse me I have a god damn fan fic to write! :D

Thanks for the offer, once it reaches something of readable status I'll be sure to send it to you to be a pre-reader yeah? ;) Also because I'm a little torn between ideas, any good ones on writing a fic centering Rainbow Dash? Also regarding an OC pony who if I decide to make the main character, will definitely not be a self-insert, what should his personality be like? I have a few ideas, none too original, him being called Sky High and being a transfer from another city to Cloudsdale, similar personality. But I'd really like to do something akin to Until I met Her and have a sort of "opposite personality" as well. Thoughts? Many thanks in advance :)

I like the idea of another "Until You Met Her" type story, obviously it'll need to be more original though. I think it would be a cool idea to (like you suggested) have the OC pony, Sky High, transfer to Cloudsdale. It could take place right before Rainbow moved to Ponyville, and I think Sky High could have a casual, modest personality. He could be highly friendly, easy to get along with, maybe slightly awkward/shy. However, nobody seems to pay attention to him at all, except Rainbow Dash.

An idea for a basic storyline could be that he'd be just the normal new kid in town, and he'd start noticing Rainbow around, becoming closer to her, and when they go flying, that's where the conflict starts. Everyone sees that he's an extremely talented flyer, and everyone starts crowding around him, basically separating him and Rainbow Dash. He doesn't like the extra attention, but wants to be accepted and have friends. However, once he realizes that it's them or Rainbow Dash, he chooses her.

Just some rough ideas, but I hope it helps! Oh, and I'm not sure if you've seen it yet, but the pony I made with the Pony Creator on DeviantArt is named Sky Bolt, and maybe it'd help seeing a character visually to depict a personality.

Wow thanks, for some "rough ideas" I immediately am polishing them in my head, they have some great potential, I like the idea of him being a "nobody" at first only to outshine Rainbow Dash leading to his popularity and Rainbow's inevitable jealousy and possibly damaged self-esteem. I'd like him to be a little insecure at first, maybe due to past experiences? :O But then grow into something more, discovering a lesson of personal worth and how Rainbow is the key to it all.

I am liking this storyline so far, going to need to find some reason as to why Rainbow and Sky begin forming a connection, but shouldn't be too hard after reading so many fics already hehe. I'm just going over a few ideas as to how they start flying, best I got is a challenge is made and they end up flying in a race in which he wins, much to Rainbow's surprise.

Is that made with the pony creator? It's very naice! Think maybe he'll be in your fic then? He certainly looks like he knows what's up ;D I'll see what I can come with without making a Soarin carbon copy ;D It'd definitely be nice to have an image for the personality I'll be making, great advice mate, I'll keep you posted on how it's comin'
