It's an advantage, but it doesn't make you smarter. It makes your resume look good and helps you build connections, both of which are often far more useful than being smart. However, the point isn't that it gives you an advantage, it's about whether it makes you more intelligent or not.

Doubt it. I've known people who were sent to private schools and given the best education around and were still thicker than pig shit, they were just better at academic stuff. Personally, I separate intelligence into two parts - academic knowledge, which is just knowing a lot of information, and analytical skills - the ability to process said information, basically your ability to think for yourself. School only really helps academic knowledge. Sure, it can hone analytical skills a little bit, but those can't be taught. You either have them or you don't. That's pretty much the main difference between regular people and geniuses - they're born with better analytical skills.

So, in short, some people are just naturally stupid. In fact, most people are just naturally stupid. They lack the capacity and drive needed to run the world. So, they just sit back, watch some TV with a beer in hand, let the 1% do it and keep telling themselves that they could do just as good of a job as those politicians and CEOs.

Yeah you're asking a good question.

But. How do we know he was still there? I'm not really going to search for the place on street view, but seems like he was arrested in a different spot, which, for as far as i know, could be kilometers away.

Also, you say that he could have been harassing people so they started chasing him away. Yeah he could have been. In which scenario they are entitled to ignore him, respond, or sue. Not form a mob and start chasing him down attempting to assault him, which they did.

Like i said, he could have shouted that all blacks must die, that MLK was hitler, that their fathers are never coming back, or whatever qualifies as severely offensive to them. Does not justify them approaching him en masse and assaulting him.

I agree, the information that could be picked up from this video is scarce, but the crowd's intent is clear as day. The dude in that hoodie coming from behind and pushing him into a mob that's shouting at him and threatening him. Doesn't seem to me as an invitation to a civil discussion about today's weather.

Also, I understand that the whole picture might not be portrayed at all in this video, but it isnt the only one out there. This video is not meant to be used as evidence, its just a public statement a guy's friend posted online about what happened. I'm sure the original videos are out there, and that many news stations covered it.

Instead of arguing about what MIGHT have happened, the guy in the video says that it's all on tape. We don't have to argue about it. If you think that the guy in the video is twisting the story, then look it up. Form your own opinion based on the facts you gather. That was the whole point of the video. In previous accounts the whole story was unknown. Now its known. Why do we need to talk about what might have happened, when we could know EXACTLY what happened by searching for those videos on youtube.

Was he holding gun at people when he got tackled by SWAT or had he already holstered it for quite some time already?
